With roots in the high deserts of New Mexico and Colorado, Saguache is the collaborative multimedia project of Seth Chrisman and Cody Yantis. Working with string instruments, field recordings, radios, cameras, microphones, and found objects, Saguache negotiate ideas and experiences relating to landscape. The results—which range from recorded sound to performance, video to photography—are not merely documents of specific places, but sonic and visual statements that seek to inspire dialog about our relationship to and affect upon our environment.
